My record store only had one copy and its just plain black but no problem im laying in the AC spinnin this bad boy.

 

So, this is really good.

 

Incredible album. Anyone else think those first couple of mins of Glint could have come from Brand New?

 

Wasn't going to bring it up because I didn't want to make any bad connections for people but yeah, Desert

 

I want this album to win a Grammy.

 

The riff around 6:25 in Glint is so good

 

So Near is fucking beautiful. I’m glad I’m finally getting into this band.

 

So while I love Chelsea, and think she's at the top of her game coming off her best record yet, I'm still waiting to fully appreciate Night People. It's alright, just kinda feels like a track keeping me away from Worthless Animal for 5 minutes

 

Good album, but not afraid to say it definitely didn’t hit as hard as anything else I’ve heard from them. Gotta check it again.

 

night people is the weakest on the album by a long shot imo

 

Glint is my favorite song by this band tied with Luna

 

I confirmed this morning that this is a perfect early-morning / sunrise record.

 

Only thing this is missing is some killer Dan Tracy drum parts. Obviously he delivers another stellar performance but I feel like Sunbather and NB have a handful of parts where I'm just like what the fuck thats brilliant writing.

 

I dunno. I couldn't place anything specifically on the new record, but watching him play live last Friday, Tracy was definitely impressive.

 

I mean like when I think of Pecan Tree I instantly think of this open handed double bass part he plays on the hi hat and ride its so sick. Especially with that whirring guitar sound.

 

Glint might be my favorite song since Dream House. Those leads are so tasty

 

Glint is bottom of the pack for me currently but all the hype around it leads me to believe it's all gonna click soon
