My annual plan becomes more and more valuable ever week.

 

Thankful I have the annual plan. Got to continue to make the most of it

 

The price itself seems a bit high. $4.50 extra for non 3D or IMAX? Made me double think seeing Skyscrapper and I help off. Maybe if it was like $2.50-$3.00. I may sound cheap, but its the principal. But now that im second guessing myself and decided not to go, MP wins and that pisses me off. They gained money by me not going. It saved them $15

 

I cancelled over the weekend. This was the last straw for me.
Going to the beach next week then I’m signing up for A-List when I return.

 

yesterday all movies in both local theatres had peak pricing for every movie besides two movies.

Today no movies have it so ok then.

 

I haven’t seen any surge pricing around me. Just sat down for ant man with a chipotle burrito. No complaints!

I’ve been slacking the last three weeks and I come back to surge pricing? Wtf. I usually go to a smaller theater so we’ll see how much this affects me

 

I got that re-financing email weeks ago, before surge pricing was even announced. It’s still insane, but this is not new.

 

Silver lining here, they're offering an additional year if you refinance which means they're expecting themselves to be around another year at least

 

i think they’re planning on being around until they aren’t around anymore. i would put money on that being less than six months.

 

So glad I dumped MP. What a joke.

 

Question to all those who say they’ve cancelled MP. Did you have the monthly plan or are you cutting your year-long subscription?

 

My favorite thing is the latest interview with the head of MP who was like "so what if we're losing money? Amazon and Netflix lose money and they're still around. We'll be fine." And I'm like... "Yeah, but they have good products and act professional."

 

this post actually made me realize that it's been 6 hours since i ate that burrito and i still haven't "handled" it yet... very abnormal, but i was fine during the movie. only 10 or so other people anyway
