Nah, I wanna see the Jags succeed, but Ramsey needing surgery (even though it's not bad) was funny in a tragic way.

I even did like, 10 years of a Madden franchise with them where TJ Yeldon was a superstar and I won like, 5+ super bowls with coach Rex Ryan.

Of course, I also relocated them twice (Jax-->London--->San Antonio)

Also living with diehard Patriots fans gives me a sick, twisted sense of humor when it comes to the NFL. Like, my fantasy team name last year was "Tom Brady is a POS Cheater"

You truly do have a twisted sense of humor if you'd move the Jags to San Antonio.

You would literally watch the world burn if the Eagles left Philly.

The best thing that ever happened in a Madden franchise for me was Cardale Jones leading the Bills to five straight Super Bowls and losing all five.

    I would go:

    1. Denver Broncos

    4. Pittsburgh Steelers
    5. Carolina Panthers
    6. Green Bay Packers
    7. Seattle Seahawks
    8. New York Giants
    9. Baltimore Ravens
    10. New York Jets

HM: St. Louis Rams, New England Patriots, Minnesota Vikings

Favre is a dumb fuck comparison but I'm not surprised to see him land a good spot on the list

He's highly athletic, very tough, great arm and very underrated ball placement, very deceptive with misdirection, just as accurate throwing on the move as he is in the pocket... picks aside defenders probably think he's pretty hard to stop. Defensive coordinators probably don't think he's that scary yet because he's inexperienced and they can confuse him from a strategic perspective. But I think for a player's perspective (players vote for the top 100 list), the chunks of yards and low probability third down conversions and red zone throws are what stand out when you play against a QB.

Bortles really can wear a defense out because he can and will make big plays even if the defense is executing and everyone is covered and guys are chasing him. His performance against the Jets for example is loaded with great tape on him attacking a defense that was playing lights out, and still picking up tough chunk yards throwing into traffic while getting hit. You could be a phenomenal defender and a player with as much gall and raw talent as Bortles is still going to challenge you and beat you at times just on ability and competitiveness alone, and that tends to create respect from the opponent no matter what mistakes he made in the game. A risk taking player who can actually pull that style of play off means a defense is never safe from a 30 yard throw or a 15 yard run from him.

Like his game is not clean, he has a long way to go before he stops hurting his own team with mistakes, but that doesn't mean he's not very difficult to stop/dangerous, and I think that has a lot more to do with how the players are ranked for that show.

Apparently Jaelen Strong dropped nearly 30 lbs. this off-season

i hope he takes a big step, between him, Nuk and Shorts it would give time for Fuller/Miller to acclimate this season

I dont care about the comparison

but if youre going to tell me he is better than every single player in the NFL aside from 55 guys, you are out to lunch

I didn't make the list haha. But it is top 100 players of 2016 not 2015, its got a projection element to it. So him being ranked there tells me other players recognize his upward trend and ability and are expecting him to make another jump. Also keep in mind that offensive skill players are pretty unfairly rated, we haven't actually seen any top 10 QBS or WRs on the list yet so it's not like hes actually ranked with the best players in his position.

I'm just glad to see he has respect around the league really.

yeah, Carr is at 100, Luck is at 92, Cousins 85, and Smith at 81...so, thats kind of the 2nd tier of QBs. Guys who are franchise guys, but, are either young or arent quite 100% locks week to week

It is funny to see how over-ranked QBs are though. Dez is 51, Eric Berry 55, Clay Matthews 57....all guys I'd take WAY ahead of Bortles in something like a fantasy draft or madden draft

Bortles hate feels so 2014. Sometimes I feel like we get spoiled by having watched so many legendary if not near legendary quarterbacks in our lifetime and it changes how we view other quarterbacks.
