Injuries aside - Bulls have a good young team on paper.

Dunn - Lavine - Jabari - Lauri - Lopez (briefly, I think WCJ becomes the starter fairly quick)

Portis and Valentine on the bench.

 

I look forward to the bulls playing their 100 4s at the 2 spot

 

The health insurance costs for that roster must be insane.

 

Aaron Gordon for McCollum, one for one. Oh yea, that makes perfect sense (no sarcasm)- bill Simmons

 

Who else are they gonna spend their cap on? If you’re rebuilding you might as well give Jabari that money on a short deal for the upside of it. Hell, the Bulls have been rebuilding for one year and already have as many young upside guys as teams who’ve been garbage for multiple years.

 

2nd year is a team option. Even better for the Bulls.

 

Bulls should be fun to watch this year. Super young group of guys with upside. I really only want them to make it through the season healthy though haha. A winning record would be nice too.

 

Yeah, The Jabari deal is a decent risk for such a young team with tons of potential and assets. Its cool to have JP back in Chicago and for him to get another chance while playing at home.

jabari was my favorite player on the team so this is a bummer but it kinda goes without saying he had no real role on this team

 

Ya, with the way the Bucks are developing and the way contracts are looking, it was time to part ways. Just made sense for both parties. Fresh start for both.
