The Story So Far Announce New Album

I feel like they should've released this before or during the Coheed tour. But I am really looking forward to this.

 

Hope they change it up a little more this time, but even if they keep doing the same thing, I’ll probably still like it.

 

That $65 deluxe record is laughable.

 

Out of it was catchy. Let's hear a single.

 

I'm surprised they have a $65 preorder without a single song except for one released almost a year ago.

 

And that version of Out Of It is not what will be on the album.

Loved their first two records, but the last one fell off quick with me. Really hope I dig this one

 

I guess this record is going to drop(kick) pretty soon

 

Can’t wait. I think I have spun their last album over 200 times

This band can keep putting out more of the same and I would be perfectly content. Looking forward to listening.

 

I actually think it’s a little overstated how much they “rehash” previous material. I think WYDS was just a better version of USAD, so that’s totally okay in my book, and the last record sorta did some different things with establishing a consistent vibe throughout, with a little more space for instrumentals, and some recurring lyrical motives.

Sure, they’re definitely not leaving the pop punk genre, and maybe this makes me kind of a hypocrite for the way I harp on bands like Bayside and Silverstein for not changing up their sound enough, but eh.

 

Also, Out of It is one of my favorite songs they’ve released, so I’m pretty hyped regardless.

 

Yeah I agree. They definitely have their sound but I don’t think each album has just been a rehash or the previous one.

 

I second everything you said here. I loved the first album until the 2nd and now I rarely go back to it since WYDS is just a better version of USAD. The third album was pretty good but I don't think they changed up their sound enough. It definitely wasn't a better album then WYDS. Excited nonetheless

 

This is all my friends who don’t listen to rocks favorite band. They have a lot more crossover than people on here seem to think
