Not at all. TSSF can fill rooms almost twice the size as Turnover.

did citizen really fall off that hard? was still under the impression citizen was one of the bigger scene bands around.

 

No, they’re still doing well. Turnover is just huge right now.

 

So I never got into Citizen or Turnover, where do I start with them?

 

Turnover's best album by far is Peripheral Vision.

Holy Shit is an incredibly underrated album. If they were able to keep their lineup in tact, and if they were American, they'd probably be one of the bigger pop punk bands of the last decade, i think.

 

Idk, i think living with lions were too much on the punk side of pop punk to have ever stood a chance of being one of the big bands in that era.

Totally agree with this. Holy Shit is one of my favorite albums of the past 10 years.

 

Citizen fell off a bit but yeah Turnover is just very big now. They crossed over pretty well

 

They’re super listenable. Everyone I’ve showed them to no matter what kind of music they normally listen to, have enjoyed Turnover. I’m very happy for them with the success they’re getting.

 

I love them but I wish they could make their live show more engaging somehow

 

Their songs are so mellow they're not exactly going to jump around like a pop punk band lol

 

They had a pretty sweet stage setup this most recent tour with a bunch of TVs which made the performance better to watch, but I know what you mean.

 

Not expecting them to jump around, but maybe enhance their lighting or something I don't know lol

 

Belmont/Such Gold co-headliner happening this summer/fall

 

Or, I dunno, smiling and looking like they actually enjoy playing live music for a living?

 

It’s sad how such gold is the second billing to a band that has 20% of the likes on Facebook. They’ve really fallen off
