Hell yeah! Also, it’s really dope this is in front of the Rasputin’s Music in Berkeley. I grew up going to that exact record store.

 

Awesome, hoping it gets announced really soon then. Feels like an age since we got new music from them other than Out Of It.

And who are "these guys"?

 

Banquet Records, the same establishment that has put on the likes of Moose Blood and the King Blues, and caped for the likes of Don Broco, Brand New, Neck Deep and others, AFTER allegations of sexual abuse, assault and other improprieties against members of the aforementioned acts. They're nothing if not consistent.

 

Ahhhh. This is where me knowing nothing about them other than ordering records from there becomes apparent. I presume this is those acoustic things they do?

 

Some acoustic shows, some full band. It's really disappointing to see because I would have sworn by them a couple of years ago but they have repeatedly shown they don't care about doing the right thing by supporting the kind of bands I mentioned; putting them on, banners advertising their records, promoting them - fair enough if they get stock of a band's new record and sell it (I get that suppliers and labels need to move units) but it's everything else they do for the likes of these bands that has convinced me that they just do not give a fuck.

 

That's pretty disappointing to hear. I used to live near there and went to a few shows they put on.

 

So I called Banquet Records out on Twitter and the responses from TSSF fans sure were interesting. All male fans. Weird how that happened. Didn't you know that calling out a business that continues to enable predators and abusers is just 'negativity'? Wonder why only dudes have bothered responding to me. Hmmmmmm.

 

When should we get a first single? Next week?

 

I originally thought today cause their website was updated earlier this morning and their tour starts today

 

Single could be today but I wouldn’t be surprised if it drops Saturday/Sunday so it can get a good radio debut

 

Is this album just going to be Parker talking about his opiate addiction? If ‘out of it’ is on the record and the title is ‘proper fix’ then I wouldn’t be surprised.

 

There is apparantley a new version of Out of It that has yet to be released. I’d assume that’s on there.

I’m 98% sure he was hooked on something else. It’s hearsay but the line “my appropriate opiate” strengthens it.

 

Supposedly, according to Reddit/a podcast with Jake Round from PNR, this is coming out in September.
