I'm partial to WWDBTSES. I like fun, quirky Modest Mouse.

 

I do enjoy both of those albums and even Strangers to Ourselves tbh. They have an interesting and diverse discography. Definitely a band I would want to see live one day if I get the chance.

 

They had a good setlist when I saw them. They closed with Strangers To Ourselves which I thought was interesting.

You guys know those tubes that you whip around in a circle and they sort of whistle? I was in the kitchen cutting up pears for the baby, and when I went in the living room, and my toddler was whipping his gogurt around like one of those tubes. I almost died. There was yogurt everywhere. So I told him to go to his room, and he actually did. I was shocked that he actually walked himself to timeout. Except when I went in there, he was turning the box fan on and off and trying to stick his fingers in it. What whyyyy

Modest Mouse, on the other hand, is a band whose recordings I enjoy but they bore me live. Seen em on a few occasions. One time I ended up just leaving early :/

I was trying to have a nice nap just now but then my brain started thinking about how nothing happens after you die

 

Dude my brain is similarly morbid. I woke up in the middle of the night recently and the first thing my brain said was, “damn. You’re gonna die someday.” Lol.
