I just hope Tom is happy.

 

I mean I don't think anybody in here wishes misery on him. I wish he stays happy enough doing his alien shit to let blink operate actively and successfully.

 

I also don’t wish “Misery” on him. But I do with “Good Old Days” and “Sober” on him. *sees self out*

 

I kinda feel like Tom may be in a better place then Mark and Travis honestly. He has a lot more going for him besides just music. Dont get me wrong, I'm def not a Travis and Mark hater just stating an option I have. I hope all 4 (Skiba included) are happy.

 

So, I'd be down to hear Blink collaborate with Twenty One Pilots on a song or two for the next album. Been listening to TOP recently and had that thought since Mark is like best buds with the drummer.

 

I don’t really have anything against TOP but I’m not interested in blink collaborating with them

 

Yeah, probably wouldn't be for everyone, but it would be interesting to hear what that would sound like.

I usually can't get into TOP but their collaboration with Mutemath was a pleasant surprise and actually made me appreciate their songs for the first time. If Blink could make a similar (or not) project with them work, I don't see how it would be a bad thing. I don't know, I'm all for it as long as it keeps Blink's sound fresh and helps them branch things out.

I also wish people were more open to artists from different genres and generations collaborating with each others, but it might be a better subject for another discussion.

 

I put on a TOP record once. It didn’t hit for me.

 

I remember blink finally getting back together and buying those damn Doritos chips to watch them live. Hearing I Miss You and Rock Show as a live version kept me so instilled on blink being "back together".

Damn Tom. Why couldn't 2003 Delonge be encapsulated forever.

 

As long as they don’t do a Goldfinger and have Josh drum a track it’ll be fine.

I listened the shit out of that Ride song a week or two after that album came out. That's about it. Haven't listened to it since lol

Damn, never knew all the TOP hate even existed. They’re pretty solid imo. I remember first hearing Vessel five years ago, and Ode To Sleep just blowing me away, immediately loved them. I think they created something pretty unique but due to overexposure and overplaying of their songs, that magic kinda got stale. I think their silence for a minute was a good choice, hopefully this new song/album are good or else what a waste of time with the cryptic messaging.

 

I like radio music, but TOP makes shitty radio music.

 

The newer stuff by TOP/30STM/Linkin Park/Imagine Dragons... they’re all the same to my ears.

 

Hey now let’s not compare anything to Imagine Dragons. That’s a low blow to even those bands

 

No it’s not. They all sound the same. Haha

 

I have respect for them after listening to blink-155 pod. Still doesn’t make their music any good though lol

 

I don’t like TOP at all but don’t care that much what blink does at this point as long as they’re enjoying themselves.

Completely down for Mark doing more pop duets with women though.
