While not the best or my favorite song by them, Glint is their "coolest" song. So sick especially at 6:30

 

Since this has been streaming, I'm absolutely captivated by "Near". This might be my favorite "post" kind of song I've ever heard.

 

So I only started finally listening to Sunbather a couple months ago. I remember all the hype around it when it came out just never got around to it. Anyways it’s amazing, and I’m v excited for this with all the people saying how more black gaze it is.

Haven’t listened to NB yet. Some people were saying in here how they don’t like it more than Sunbather. Is it more black metal or something? Either way I’m definitely going to check it before next Friday in preparation.

Sunbather never really caught on with me, I think it’s fine, but I love NB a ton.

 

i like them about even. i’m a nice boy.

 

NB was Sunbather to the extremes. Heavy parts are heavier and the pretty parts are prettier.

I probably like New Bermuda more but they’re both incredible so

I do think NB is the more accessible of the two

I was not expecting that first track at all. This rules.

 

Nb is less atmospheric but heavier

 

id say its at least just as atmospheric, just a darker atmosphere

 

The ending of Luna still gives me chills. Feels like an out of body experience.

 

I like New Bermuda but the transcendently bright atmosphere of Sunbather makes me feel like the sky is literally screaming prophecies at me. New Bermuda is rich, dark, and beautiful, but it never took me to that place.

 

new bermuda makes me feel like im in an extremely dark pit with no way out, which is how i felt in my life when that album came out

 

The vocal difference is the big reason I think SB is more atmospheric, it's very cinematic and rich whereas NB reminds me of listening to it in my car in the rain at night, very bleak

 

The ending of Luna hit me like a ton of bricks on that listen and ive never gotten over it

 

the intro of luna is what really gets me. that's a mean, mean riff

 

luna is also easily my favorite song by this band
