2k16 has me sooooo pumped

 

I'll play some 2k16, sure.

 

Now I can use TWO characters in this game.

 

I totally forgot about that game.

 

My PS4 currently playing library:
Fallout 4 (have been randomly coming back to this)
Metro 2033 (I can't bring myself to play this again because of how much I didn't enjoy myself)
Metro Last Light (haven't touched yet)
The Last of Us (idk why the hell I haven't finished this yet, I forget I have it sometimes)
LEGO Marvel (still working slowly on that platinum)
I'm currently downloading Injustice because it was $6. I love superheroes but I'm not a huge fighter fan but I figured I'd try it for cheap.
I also grabbed Dig Dug because I had money in my PSN wallet so I'm trying to platinum that as well now.

Ugh I told myself I wouldn't do this to myself.

Haha lucky. The more gameplay I see the more I really really wanna break and just buy that game right now. It looks like sooooo much fun, Espicially with a group of friends

 

I've been playing 2k16 constantly despite being terrible at it. Spike Lee's story mode is so incredibly cheesy/bad/slow though.

 

My summer's going to be a lot of Overwatch with some Witcher sprinkled in.

 

I'm glad I didn't hold off until after No Man's Sky came out for Overwatch. lol

Had the most ridiculous game of rocket league. I was in full on troll stall mode. Random saves every time they got near our goal. I'd say I was frustrating as shit.

 

I have a friend that owns a PS4 and exclusively plays War Thunder

 

Gah, that new Turtles game is the worst. Such a disappointing experience. Oh well.

 

How so? I've read reviews and they didn't sound too great but I'd like to hear personal experiences as well.

 

My PS4 currently playing library:
Doom (need to find every secret)
Legend of Korra (stuck on that final boss)
Uncharted Collection (working on part 3)
Transistor (bought it when it went on sale recently)
Guacamelee (replaying)

and I'm perpetually playing Tetris and Plants vs Zombies

 

While the boss battles are good fun, 90% of the game is you running around in extremely similar looking environments. And there's frankly just too much happening on the screen at one time. It doesn't give you a satisfying gameplay experience like Transformers: Devastation did. I bought the game for the art style, and that ended up being the most disappointing part of the game, because it didn't really work well for building designs and such. The characters look cool enough, but it's just not a fun game because of the repetitive structures and level designs.

The game's first level (after the tutorial) is basically something you'd find yourself doing in a sidequest mission separate from the main storyline...but it begins with a really pointless and not fun mission.

Not a fan of the lack of local co-op.

I'm still in search of a great TMNT game post Turtles IV on SNES.

I'm so stoked to get 2K16 for free, was actually thinking of picking it up a few weeks ago so this really could not be better timing

 

Just got a ps4 and I'm sort of waiting for a good month before I sign up for PS+. This is definitely a good month, but I can't see myself playing a basketball game very much and I've already played Gone Home on steam, so I think I'm gonna hold off.

 

Haven't played a basketball game in years, like at least a decade, and I was just looking at that one on sale the other day thinking, hey that would be fun. I'm happy with that, especially in comparison to the last few months. Gone Home is wonderful

 

Currently only playing Until Dawn. I've got (I think) two chapters left. Might try to finish it tonight. Probably gonna go with the new Witcher DLC after that. Then I want to replay the first three Uncharteds before finally hopping on that glorious elephant that is Uncharted 4. Maybe by then No Man's Sky will be out. If not, I might finally do my first replay of The Last of Us.

dammit I'm pretty sure I just recently bought Gone Home during a flash sale. Oh well. Looking forward to 2k16, at least.

 

Are 2K servers still as awful as they were a couple years ago? That was the last time I played, and the online mode was atrocious. Could barely get to halftime without being kicked offline.
