So today I moved into my first place of my own. Just a little apartment in Austin, but the first time in my life I haven’t lived with 3+ people or shared a room. I spun Simple Math three times while building crappy IKEA furniture. It was a good time. SM is a very important record in my life.

 

I remember loving I’ve got friends when it came out but couldn’t get into the album (i don’t know what was wrong with me, I think I just wanted an album full of IGF). But then simple math came out and I love both the song and the album immediately so went back to METN and loved that immediately haha

 

I used to hate, and still kind of do - ‘I Got Friends’.

Maybe it’s just the keyboard opening.

I would rather hear them play 20 different songs more.

 

Also, The Gold has apparently been added to Sonic radio.

I heard it while waiting for my slush.

 

I heard it at Red Robin when i was in Watertown last week

My wife loves Red Robin. She would crave it every time she was pregnant. I think their burgers are good but for whatever reason the Red Robin near me always rubbed me the wrong way.
