I wish Drive would get the Criterion Collection treatment.

The next movie I really want to see is It Follows. I'm obsessed with synthwave, chiptune and horror synth scores/music atm after finishing Stranger Things and buying the Drive soundtrack on vinyl.

 

what's the difference between criterion collection and regular bluray?

 

You get a ton of features with CC many more than you get with regular blu ray. Often comes with a small book, sometime a doc and the versions are director approved.

I don't buy bluray either but I was wondering what the benefits were, mainly because even with the sale The Graduate Criterion collection was still about $20 and the regular bluray was under $10.

 

I guess packaging too, but that's still really just marketing

yeah like I'll watch movies but I'm not ever going to put in a disc of bonus features or read a little book that comes with them. I like streaming because I don't have to get up to start watching something also.

if anybody has any digital movie redemption codes I'll gladly take them. haha
