    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

I don’t remember if this was confirmed or not here, but Beebs and her Moneymakers got added to all Florida dates

The problem with people is that they're only human

Unfortunately the deal with the WBC is that they want people to do shit to them so they can sue the city/venue/police/whoever else and get a big payout. It's how they make all their money. It may seem silly that squirting them with water would give them anything to sue about, but if anyone can weasel a way into a settlement it's those creeps

Doesn't Blackcraft sell "Fuck the Westboro Baptist Church" shirts every year in anticipation of this?

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

A lot of the bands counter-protested outside the venue last year and it was really funny. Hope that happens again tomorrow too.

I mentioned this in the thread before the tour, but a friend of mine who works for a compsny who is on the tour and regularly works on the tour himself told me this was the case, so I’d expect it for the rest of the dates.

He also asked if I’d like to join him for a week on the tour, but I’m on vacation the same week they need help. There go my high school dreams.

When warped was on the field getting around was easy. Last year was my first year going since warped moved to the parking lot. It was hard for me to get around. So many traffic jams. Hopefully things go better for me this year. I'm going to warped with a friend so i have sighted help to hopefully get around better.

  9. Kevin Lyman is an idiot but at least he (sort of?) did the right thing, I guess.

Lyman is taking a lot of heat on this Islander thing on social media and music media. I’m surprised he hasn’t just invited them back yet. He looks really bad with this one.

The Toronto date is under 2 weeks away now, and I haven't gone to the tour since it was at Arrow Hall in Mississauga, so, can anyone else going tell me how the set-up is for Molson Amp in the past? Do they utilize the amp for the Main stage? Any new changes this year? Can't find much info online, and I'm a little anxious (Having a nightmare already about Warped doesn't help much either, haha).. Thanks!

Eh. I get it. It's "Punk Rock Summer Camp" but if I was the band playing immediately after them with a broken tom or my set time needed to get cut into so that they could replace it I'd be pissed. No one seems to be looking at it from that angle it seems to be all "It's Punk Rock!!! Let them pay to replace it and let them stay on"

I would also like to know, I haven't been to the Toronto date since Arrow Hall (2011) either. 2012 I went to Montreal and 2013 - 2017 I've gone to Darien Lake.

2011 was my last year! Considered Darien Lake for Sum 41 in 2016, but didn't update my passport in time.

Need the recap! I guess I have no chance for anything during GDWTW since they seem to be choosing male fans to go up.

I’m in the I get it and I don’t get it category. Like I get that it was a reckless move for stuff that doesn’t belong to you, but I also think kicking them off the tour with this being the very last tour and they have tried very hard since 2015 to get on the tour. I just think I’d probably have just taken an apology, given them an ass chewing, made them replace it and warned them of best behavior the rest of their stay. I just couldn’t imagine kicking them off over it.

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

last time in 2015 they used Echo Beach as the main stages and scattered the side stages by the entrance to the amp and closer to Ontario Place, similar setup in 2014 but the main stages were totally away from Echo Beach and you had to walk a lot over some walkway/bridge area. Hoping to see the amphitheater in use this year cause I loved how Darien Lake used theirs when I went

I’ve gone to the Barrie/Toronto date every year since 2005 before that, just so happens that Montreal and Darien Lake we’re on better dates for me.

I can see this happening and they still might get to play another date as the band is handling the right way.

I think a lot prefer it at Molson Park. I know everyone hated the change to Molson Amp, and the layout previous years there, so I think that's also why I'm anxious.

Yeah Park was definitely better but I always hated the lines (including when it went to Arrow Hall). Darien is way better in that regard. The last few years I got there just at doors or within 30 mins of it opening and I was able to get in within 10 minutes of doors.

I expect it to be pretty similar to 2015. They scatter the non-main stages throughout Ontario Place with Echo Beach as the main stages. It was divided down the middle to accommodate one band setting up while the other plays. Either way, the entrance will likely be the same one used for the amphitheatre with the line stretching east along the water. I'd recommend getting there early (maybe 10:30 or 11?) to make sure you're in the venue for noon.

The amphitheatre has a VIP entrance for American Express cardholders but I'm unsure if this will be an option for Warped. Either way, I'd bring some canned food items or a donation to try and skip the line that way.

Damn that’s rough. Shouldn’t have slept on $25 presale or the $20 offer they had a couple months ago!
