People who say Persona 3 is the best entry in the franchise are delusional. Just wanted to throw that out there.

 

With such a busy week last week I was gutted that I had to miss so much SGDQ live, but just looking through Youtube at what I have to catch up on and I'm very psyched.

I loved Rise of the Tomb Raider. It had an Uncharted feel to it as far as the mix of platforming and shoot em up style of play.

Im a huge fan of Last of Us too. I do remember that getting stuck on a couple bloater parts though too!

 

I started AC: Origins, and idk if it was my mood or what, but I just was not feeling it. At all. I personally didn't like the setting when it was announced. Maybe it's just not for me. Will probably sell it and Mario Odyssey soon (I guess hmu if you want either).

I was thinking yesterday that I might start The Evil Within 2 next. Stupid me re-bought Destiny 2 + the expansion pass. Kind of just wanted another FPS to play when I'm bored of Overwatch, but I'm also interested in the new DLC coming out soon.

 

So I was kind of hard into Destiny 1 for a few months and was excited for Destiny 2 and played it for a month and a half really hard and haven't touched it since. My clan is probably dead haha. But the new expansion looks like it's going to fix a lot of the major complaints I had. The new weapon slots, enemies, story and balances seem like a step in the right direction.

The biggest problem is that Destiny 2 should have picked up and added to where Destiny 1 ended with the amount of content and quality, but instead it picked up from like the first expansion of Destiny 1 when things were really hollow and boring. That's what you get for having such a small amount of time between releases and having two separate teams.

If that’s the Bloater I’m thinking of I struggled there too (in the basement of some building with the generator). Pretty certain you can just run for it and get through the door after connecting the generator.

every now and then I remember the gaming injustice that is done via lack of translation of Boku No Natsuyasumi and I get really sad for a little while. I want more relax-em-up games!!! Animal Crossing is good but it's been like 5 years ffs!

Currently playing Dark Souls 3 for the the second time and omg I just want a new Soulsborne game so bad.

 

Anyone have experience with the Marvel Ultimate Alliance rereleases on PS4? I know they had some trouble out of the gate but they’re on sale as a package for $15 on PSN right now. Worth it?

 

I'm probably slightly biased but I thought they were fine and pretty much how I remembered them on the 360. Still had a lot of fun playing through them and for $15 it's not bad at all.

 

crypt of the necrodancer is a lot of fun but my god is it hard. so far for me it's not quite as rewarding as something like spelunky but it's also not half as frustrating, haha

 

I don’t know if yoy played Origins past the opening area but if not I definitely recommend you keep playing for a bit longer.

 

I have mixed feelings about this. I love the world and characters, but it looks like every single Shonen Jump fighter.
