I rather enjoy The Color Before the Sun, it was a welcome change of pace that they pulled off well. Peace to the Mountain has tons of Sgt. Pepper influence and Zach really stands out on Here to Mars.

    yeah good okay Prestigious

SSTB is so good. Claudio's vocals on that one are so raw and primal. Delirium Trigger, Everything Evil, Time Consumer, etc. So many memorable songs.

I’ve always liked it, especially the riff during the “no one will save us” part.

Used to hate Guns. I enjoy it now.

I think Guns of Summer would be a solid track but the guitars just seem so buried in the mix.

How about some live for the song neverender! I love this riff and especially the break Down in the middle

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

I actually like The Audience a fair bit. But there's no good reason either of those should have made the cut over Fangs of the Fox.

    Actually have never heard them.

Big fan of their other openers like the aforementioned Porcupine Tree, BTBAM, Circa Survive, Russian Circles, and MovMou is an all timer for me so I’m surprised I have never heard them. I’ll listen this evening.

I know it’s been played to death but Welcome Home really is a monster of a song

That’s cool that you like it. I feel like it was them trying to force a “heavier” song when that obviously wasn’t where their headspace was at.

Yeah sorry I should’ve been more clear. They might not be done for good but they haven’t really been active since 2013 aside from a handful of shows last year and a split with Prawn in 2015.

So I’m seeing Coheed next Tuesday. Anybody here into the story so far? Are they worth cramming a little bit before the show? I know enough of TBS to get by, but I literally know nothing from tssf

They're a shitty pop punk band with a shittier singer. Don't waste your time

    No Fun. Not Ever.

I'm still kinda salty that Canada and Europe get Chon/Protest the Hero and we get stuck with TBS.

It's pretty simple: do you like pop-punk? If the answer is yes, you'll like them. If no, stay far away.

I’d love to see them with Protest the Hero but CHON doesn’t do it for me. I saw them open for Thrice and it was like 30 minutes of flashy elevator music.
