A friend/neighbor usually has a BBQ so we'll go to that for a few hours in the afternoon/evening, then put the kids to bed and watch tv or a movie.

 

I hurd dat. If the holiday wasn’t just referred to by the date I’d forget it existed tbh.

 

Like I will never in my life plan a 4th or July party but if I happen to end up at a bbq or whatever that that’s cool I guess

I think I’ve mentioned this before but there’s a scene in this movie, I think right after this, where they are singing and running through the city and a lot of be time their eyes are closed and back in kindergarten we would play “girls chase boys” (great game) and I would run around the playground with my eyes closed singing this song. I should have died or gotten seriously injured
