  1. The lack of Delonge's copycat is surprising.

“Was successful, went nuts, tried to stay relevant, failed.” Did I sum it up nicely?

All jokes aside, I'm down for a 4th Wave Ska. Blink-155 has been getting me nostalgic with their Ska Season rants.

  12. Hahahaha same! The new interrupters record fucks. Kevin Bivona was a touring member of the transplants and a (+44) roadie so it all comes full circle.

Yeah I love the new Interrupters album. Was just thinking while listening to it this weekend how happy I am to see them slowly getting more recognition over the years and bringing ska back In a way. They would’ve been one of the most popular bands to come out of the 90’s imo.

    Die rad.

I still remember seeing Fenix tx headline over good Charlotte in 2000 destroying America tour. so good. Fenix tx self titled is a masterpiece. I think its better than lechuza

I’m not sure what the mixing is - but it ends making All Time Low, Goldfinger, Blink 182, and State Champs all sound like they have the same singers.

But damn his stuff is catchy. As I said to my wife when we were listening to the new State Champs album, John Feldmann writes the best song - and I love it. Haha.

Sounds like they reused a bit of the Tijuana Sunrise horn part in that Cant Get You More Pregnant remix.

After hearing the new Goldfinger last year I still maintain that a Feldmann produced Reel Big Fish or Less Than Jake album wouldn’t be terrible.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

yeah, terrific songwriter, mostly rubbish producer sums it up for me. he would have been great as just a co-writer on California with any other major pop-punk guy in the producer's seat, but ah well

Feldmann needs to stay far away from Blink. Tom Delonge & Aaron Rubin should produce the next Blink record and Tom should sing on it, lol.

I actually listened to the whole Fenix TX discography this weekend out of the blue and man they were so good. It stinks they broke up when they did. I enjoyed their EP that dropped last year and really hope there's a follow up.

I really miss the late 90s/early 2000s pop punk bands. I feel like once FOB came along it marked the end of an era.
