this is a perfect record - combining the best parts of Sunbather and New Bermuda yet still elevating their sound to new heights.

Can’t wait to hear it. Are there interludes like on Sunbather or is each track a full blown song?

 

I'm sad I missed the clear Deathwish variant. I'm considering the pink or just traditional black.

 

this may sound ridiculous but the opening track sounds like Queen recording a black metal song

Night People is gonna end up a top 5 all timer for this band (it's the song with Chelsea Wolfe on it) and I believe George is singing cleanly on it too

New Bermuda was great but the lyrics made it really tough to listen to at times - once I had the lyric sheet in front of me I found the isolation and depression evident in George's words too much to bear for the most part. Was going through a really dark time around when I reviewed it. I don't know if you @Drew Beringer have the lyrics for this yet but what is the general musical vibe? I might steer clear for a bit if it's in that sort of headspace the last one was.

 

Argh, I work today and I'm rarely gonna take any calls. Would really like this to leak today.
