I think the best songs off of More Life are far more interesting than anything here except “Nice For What” and “Summer Games”

 

This is ok. Lot of fun one liners, some good beats, somewhat interesting personal content even if a lot of it is rehashed, not many standouts outside of the first two singles and a couple others, nothing outright terrible outside of "Ratchet Happy Birthday". Drake's at the stage of his career where he's focused on commercial dominance far more than critical response and I accept that. I can make a solid playlist out of half of this. Maybe the future of albums is to build them ourselves.

 

Is it just me or does is the mix on in my feelings really bad?

Swap out Jaded, That’s How You Feel and In My Feelings for Sandra’s Rose, 8 Out Of 10, and After Dark and those are the tracks I’m feeling right now. These are good picks though for sure.

"God's Plan" makes the most sense to me as first track but I've heard that wayy too much. Got rid of a few songs I liked (Finesse, After Dark, Nonstop) because they didn't fit the vibe I was going for.

I needed something to listen to while working this morning so I put on today's Everyday Struggle. As soon as Akademiks said Summer Games was a terrible song I turned it off.

Oh and right after he called Summer Games "trash" he then said Ratchet Happy Birthday is "fucking fire." How does this clown have his own show?

 

Happy Birthday honestly would be good if you got rid of Drake’s vocals and kept PND’s in the background.

If the word wasn’t so “meh” about it, he probably would have sold more.

 

Ringer just listed “Glow” as the worst Drake song and “The Motto” in the top 3. I’m done. About what I expect from music critics these days smh.

 

"Can't Take a Joke" is fire, prob my favorite on disc 1

 

The songs I keep coming back to are Nonstop and In My Feelings. Nice For What is still the best on here, some other decent tracks but overall after its first week of absorbing the material I won’t be listening to this front to back anymore.
