Maybe my coffee hasn't kicked in (or more likely my Marxist theory is lacking)... but what's the connection between social fascism and the article? ELI5?

 

i was mostly joking because there's a dumb Stalinist theory about social democracy being "objectively the left wing of fascism" because it stops genuine socialist revolution by placating workers within capitalism. its nonsense, but this is a very bad policy by a social democratic government so i was saying "wow turns out Stalin was right about social democracy" ironically

I don't agree with the policy described in the article (partially because of the age and partially because of the language and rhetoric behind the policy), but I'm curious why you think it's a very bad policy? Mandatory preschool as a prerequisite for welfare payments does not seem to me as an inherently bad idea.

Got a random playlist going on Apple Music and Avion Roe popped up with the son 'Mother of Millions.' Opening verse took me off guard:

This opening verse hits War, Healthcare, Capitalism, Mental Health, Hate, Animal Rights, Religious Tolerance, and i'm sure more...good stuff, never heard this band before.

What does ending divisivness even mean? The only way to end it in practice is to elimnate one side if the divide and hope that the people left dont divide again.
