Love how the Iran deal, which took years to negotiate and involved a ton of checks to ensure they were following the agreement, was super weak. While this handshake deal with North Korea that they of course never intended to keep up and immediately defied, now that's a strong deal.

 

growing up in a middle class house outside of NYC, going to a private city university, then moving the city and claiming hood status...sounds like 95% of the kids I went to high school with (and couldn't stand).

If you want to get all personal about it, I was poorer than these kids and I got shit for my brown skin and despite getting accepted to the big city schools I couldnt put my family further into poverty so I went to a state school.

I can personally vouch that there are indeed poor people attending Boston University

I can look at someone with a multi million dollar home and know that someone got fucked so that they could be where they are today. Becuase that's how captalism works.

Compare that to your local community or state school. Private universities actively push the poor away from attending. I can personally vouch for that

 

Wasn’t the salient part of her bio that the court system and the recession fucked her family over financially? I was under the impression that that was why she moved back to the Bronx after college and was working as a bartender and stuff.

 

And on top of how stupid this still is...
She was born in the Bronx. Lived in the Bronx until she was 5. And moved back go the Bronx and has lived there since 2011or 2012. But I guess that's not good enough to be "from" the Bronx?
