I couldn't ever figure out he was saying agenda till I looked at the lyrics.

 

I despise death of a robot.. expect for the first minute or so that I love haha, but once Will starts going off it loses me

 

Death of a Robot is one of the best from their discog for me, but only in spite of the Will sections. That main hook/verse is dynamite, and also an example of where AS1's glossy production works perfectly for the material.

 

I don’t despise it but i think it’s a pretty unremarkable song and that tilians pretty boring in it. I wouldn’t say I like wills part much either but it breaks up the boring haha. Jon’s part with the chugging guitars saves it for me a bit.

I’m listening to it again now and I like the outro. Idk overall it’s just a fine but subpar DGD song to me.

 

Wait.. doesn't Variation have a pretty straight chugga chugga section?

 

Man I love Variation. I wish IG ended with that instead of Lost.

 

Yeah. It sets the song back so much, just like every other song they choose to do that stuff. I want to delete it off in audacity or some shit.

Will has written parts of that style since the beginning. Maybe not as apparent as it is in certain songs on Art Sec, but I don't really mind them adding a handful of tracks of them showing some small influence of other sounds from their peers and trying something new for fans. (even if those tracks don't do much for me most of the time. Ex: Story of my Bros, Midnight Crusade)
