Been playing through the original Mafia game from 2002 lately and I so want it to get a remake like Resident Evil 2 is getting because there is room for improvement but what is there already is great.

 

What's everyone's Game Of The Year (that you've played) so far? Not most anticipated.

 

Maybe Kirby? I actually think that’s the only 2018 game I’ve played. I’ve just been catching up a lot.

 

God of War probably.

Honorable mentions: Monster Hunter World, Unravel Two

i also restarted else.heart break () and made sure to follow a quest path (it's ridiculously easy to lose yourself early on, the game barely pushes you along its questline) til i at least got the actual hacking tool and it's actually quite great. real hallucinogen of a game in a nontraditional way

 

God of War for sure. Hollow Knight is a very close second.

 

I guess Far Cry 5 so far since it's the only game from this year besides State Of Decay 2.

Divinity Original Sin II coming out to consoles 31st August this year

 

My game of the year is still Titan Fall 2 because I am addicted and can't stop playing that even though so many new games have come out.

 

Celeste, God Of War, and Hollow Knight are my games of the year so far.

 

yup, Celeste for me.

 

Damn solid list.

We also have Spider-Man, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Super Smash Bros Ultimate coming out later.

 

Very excited for all of those and Life Is Strange 2.

 

Do Switch re-releases count? Because Tropical Freeze is fucking great

 

Finished my first playthrough of Fallout 4 last night. Really enjoyed it in the end. Going to spend another day or two completing a few misc. achievements.

 

People say that and I still think it's only okay. Maybe it's just DK games in general that don't do much for me. I just don't find it compelling.

 

Color me shocked

 

It's weird because I loved the Donkey Kong Country games for SNES but the latest entries have done very little for me.

 

Ugh I was so on top of playing games released last year and this year I don't think I've played a single one lol
