That’s some John Doe Se7en shit

 

In a month I’m moving to a new place that allows dogs so I need a canine companion to help me cope with all this shit.

 

As a journalist who works in a city that I fear is one fake news story about terrorists invading our area that will cause a revolt against our city’s government and us, some madman coming in guns blazing is a huge fear of mine.

Our office is basically glass and open to the public since we want to welcome people. Something like today is absolutely horrifying.

The misreporting on this is fucking insane too. I saw one article saying he had a bat, another article saying he was brandishing scissors, and another article saying he wasn't complying. Jfc.

Haha nope. The mayor did say this "affirmed my resolve to implement a body camera program here in the City of Lancaster," but we all know how that doesn't really tend to change shit at all.

I'm glad this thread has taught me so much about this kind of shit over the past couple of years. It's a sad reality, but my eyes are definitely open to the corruption now.
