Awesome. I think this is their best chart position so far.

  3. Time Machine was such a "meh" song to have Mark feature on.

Pretty sure in an interview with Derek and Tyler they said Mark co-wrote that song along with Dead and Gone. So that makes sense as to why Mark is featured on it.

I forgot to mention, at Slam Dunk when I met with these guys, it was a shame to see JJR still working for them. I gave him evils the whole time haha.

    Things have changed.

I thought he was with Four Year Strong, not this band.

He was definitely mixing with SC and handling their merch.

  10. can't believe bands would still willingly associate with JJR in 2018

Enjoyed their first album, didn't like the last one at all, loving this one. I really didn't expect to after the previous album was a let down for me but this album rocks.

Finally checking this out, really surprised by how much I’m enjoying it. A lot of their catchiest songs.

This album is easily Derek’s best vocal performance imo

I wish this album wasn't produced by Feldman, his production job sucks the life out of most albums and this song definitely deserves better than his crappy production. Dunno why they moved away from Kyle Black.

Kyle Black produced/mixed a lot of it. Feldmann only did like 3 or 4 songs

I blame most of it on Mike Green.

Agreed, i’ve been spinning it for a few weeks pretty consistently. The record is great

We reach for the longest shadow

This record starts off with an incredible 1-2 punch and never reaches those levels again.

Exactly how I feel. Criminal and Frozen are two of the strongest songs they've written, but the rest of the record falls flat in comparison. There are some fun songs, but those first two are really something.

This is definitely true, but there are other good tracks like Safe Haven, but the first two are clearly two of the best tracks.

First four tracks are a great run and Safe Haven is my favorite song on the album, so I don’t really agree with that criticism. I’d totally see the argument that it’s front heavy though, that’s the case with all their records

Yup, second half is always weak on their records and they still can’t write a decent closer.

Crystal Ball and Lightning are on par with Frozen and Criminal
