Switch: Odessey, Mario Tennis, Overcooked, Celeste, Puyo Puyo Tetris. I would consider picking up BOTW or Xenoblade 2 even though I had the Wii U iterations and never even put a dent in them. Mario Party and Smash. And then I guess the 3rd party games I could get on any console like Doom and DBZF.

But Kingdom Hearts Lol.

 

I'm getting pretty hyped about RE2. I think i'm gonna hold off on RE7 until the end of summer, get it for cheap, and then play that until RE2's release.

 

Well, I think it boils down to these two things: what's more important to you, Nintendo first party or Kingdom Hearts? And will you take advantage of the portibikpor of the Switch?

Overcooked, Doom, Celeste, Puyo Puyo are all on PS4. The benefit you get for Overcooked and Puyo Puyo with the Switch is that you get two controllers so you can easily pick up and play them with anyone at anytime.

From the sounds of it your best bet might be this:
Buy a Switch and play KH on a friend's PS4 haha.

 

Also you could probably get a very cheap PS3 and get KH 2.5 on that, it has all the same extra content that the PS4 version does.

 

I will say the KH collections on PS3 are not the most ideal, the loading can be a little long in the tooth and you don't get that sweet sweet 60 FPS. But if you can work with that then yea it works.

I haven't played anything else similar recently, and I was hoping to get recs here too lol.

That said I'm not sure if you've played it, but maybe check out Shadowrun Returns. There are 3 released so far, each one with slight gameplay improvements over the last one.

- Dead Man's Switch is the first one and has a smaller scope, starts out as a murder mystery and spirals from there
- Dragonfall is a more traditional adventure where you have a base and can recruit NPCs and go from mission to mission
- Hong Kong is the latest one. I haven't played it yet, but it's getting positive reception.

The world is pretty cool too. Leather-jacket wearing half-orcs and elves in a cyberpunk setting is never a bad thing. Also magic and technology exist at the same time.

EDIT: also I’m keeping an eye on Wasteland 2 and Tyranny. I might grab the former on Switch though, depending on how good the port is.

 

Would also like to add, you can play indie games. They are more expensive there than in Steam obviously, but you get to play them on the go.

I think it's my Nintendo exclusives/indie games machine haha.
