That would probably be the only way they would headline to a crowd of more than 200 people. Honestly, I don't even know if that record still holds up to their old fans today.

 

Diet Cig, Emma Ruth Randle/Jay Jayle, and A Place to Bury Strangers tour dates (in Chicago at least) just popped up on Facebook.

 

Black Tusk/Whores./White Nails tour dates.

 

Whores. is such a terrible band name.

 

Your initial reaction is justified, but they've spoken about it before in a manner that isn't tone deaf like how Viet Cong (now Preoccupations) and Black Pussy have explained their band names. The initial question in this interview addresses it pretty well:
