Sorry I'm late for the gas talk but surprised no one mentioned Sheetz. I don't have any in my state but went to one in PA when visiting family. People I've talked to (maybe here in the past) go nuts for the convenience store

 

There are Buc-ee's down here that literally have 100 gas pumps and it's an enormous store inside with tons of food and whatnot. Basically a giant rest stop and not just a convenience store. Good beef jerky tho

 

Sheetz and Wawa are overrated compared to QT

 

It's only 10 min. north...both amazing, but Cannon Beach is on a different level.

I used to go to Wawa as a kid when we visited the Jersey Shore. Can't remember much about it, just thought the name was funny when I first saw one

 

Always used to stop at Sheetz on my drives up from NC to NY to see the family. Bathrooms always clean, stores brightly lit, food you wouldn't feel suspicious about buying lol

 

I know I’m late and I lurk this thread but ive never read a more true statement about the dynamic of a Midwest family

 

Buc-ees is the best and that's really not up for debate.

 

Sheetz and Quik Trip are on an equal level.

haha I mean I bet they didn't even know it was an Arabic word... When I search for Kanan I get pages of this star wars character....

But everyone wants social capital now, both that account and the people looking for something to attack.

Saw this show up on HBO this weekend...looks interesting. I'm not LDS/Mormon, but it's huge around here, with a lot of young democratic members that are supportive of the LGBTQ community. Latter-Day Left podcast is a pretty good listen on occasion, so this documentary hits home and I wasn't expecting it. Excited to dive in :).
