this is so damn good

it hasn't been long but it's easily my favorite from them I think

 

"Happiness Hours" is def comparable to "Love Me a Good Microcosm" in more ways than one

the small segments of distorted spoken word on this album definitely recall Flies in All Directions imo

 

The title track is so fucking good. Been on repeat for a couple days now.

 

well this quickly became my travel record. I have pushed this thing on a lot of non-US citizens and they have seem to all taken to it, which is awesome.

All the criticisms I had for this thing at one point or another have all but subsided. Very charmed by the vocal work now

 

The last two tracks really cement this for possibly being my favorite piece of work from them. Time will tell.

 

Last two tracks are really something

My favorite run has gotta be Twins -> Weed Tent, but those two contend heavily

 

I knew I was listening to this a lot but holy shit, it's running away with my most-listened-to album title for the last 180 days.

I still think Little Dark Age is my AOTY but this is up there for sure.

 

That Porches album is excellent too

 

This album just doesn’t work for me at all. Bummer. I don’t even know what it is about it because it seems like something that should be right up my alley.

Album gives me Days Away vibes

 

Not sure if I totally hear the comparison but damn do I miss that band.

 

I can’t really describe it but it just made me feel like I was listening to Mapping an Invisible World again

 

this reminds me of the last Oso oso album a lot

 

i need to download this one and the haley heynderickx one, the emperor x session is great

This might honestly be my favorite of the year so far. It’s such a perfect summer album.

 

This album closes out so incredibly strong from Serpents onward, pretty sure Serpents, Medium, and the title track are my favorites off the whole thing honestly.

 

Serpent sounds GREAT in this one. So many little guitar parts (mainly Toby's) that I hadn't really noticed before.

 

Few things in life are better than driving around on a hot summer day listening to this. Sets the mood so perfectly.

 

Stoked and think that's perfect for them

I used to see them play together all the time so this will be nostalgic as well!
