Random question but for those of you who have a car that uses gas (which I assume is most of you), where do you get gas? I stay away from Exxon for obvious reasons (not that I would go there anyway since they are way overpriced). Anyway I generally just go to whatever is cheapest, which I find usually to be Lukoil, Wawa (convenience store chain for those who unfortunately wouldn't know), or Delta. Obviously no gas company is good for environment and the best thing to do is just to drive less, but would you say there are any gas stations that are the lesser of evils? Just curious what you all think and where you go

 

I usually just go to whatever’s closest to me/on my normal route without really much regard for what it is. Mobil and speedway are probably most common. My car only holds 10 gal so it’s rarely worth it to compare prices. Wish I had an answer for which are “better.”

 

I’m lucky that I only have to fill up once a month and I just go wherever I’m near.

 

yeah I avoid BP because of the spill but besides that don't really have any real alliance, I do tend to go to Mobil so I guess not that much better

 

I view most on the right/trump voters like my dad, a rich person who gives absolutely zero fucks about politics and just doesn’t want to pay taxes, or my mom, someone who hates Hillary Clinton because of everything her dumb Facebook friends post

My decision of where to get gas has 0% to do with the company and 100% to do with what’s closest to me and cheapest

And this goes for "establishment democrats" too, which is most of them, it just hides it nice and tidy under socially liberal language.

I don't think many of us on here are partisan. At least, I am not. So the "What about the democrats" argument will not work.

QT is unquestionably the best convenience store on the planet and I’ll fight anyone who disagrees. When it comes to customer service, they’re number one with a bullet.

 

My girlfriend worked there for a few months when she lived with me back home and actually really enjoyed it and they pay above minimum wage at least in Missouri

 

They do pay fairly well for what the job is. I believe normal associates makes $15 or so an hour here.

 

the QuikTrip right off campus had these bavarian cream danishes that were incredible

 

Not to mention the corn dogs are the best things on earth.


God I’d go to QT for ten bucks worth of gas and walk out with 20 bucks worth of snacks
