Listening now. This band literally don't write bad songs, and they have some of the best in pop-punk/emo history.

You know what is underrated... Damage. The album, and the song in particular. It’s a classic poppy JEW jam. Most of that album could be spliced in with Bleed American and fit perfectly.

And they played both Polaris and Dizzy! Fantastic setlist. And that ending of Pass the Baby live was just... wow!

It was a good night, to say the least!

 

I've never seen them play Dizzy and it makes me sad.

 

I haven’t seen JEW live since the Futures tour cycle and I am happy to say I am writing that wrong next month.

Pretty nuts to just rail on someone like that with no explanation. Whatever is being referenced isn’t common knowledge and doesn’t seem to show up in any of the recent threads about him on this forum, so... yeah, more details would be helpful.

AFAIK, he went to Eton on a scholarship. I recall him saying in an interview that the environment at Eton is what got him into punk rock in the first place.
