So they busted Sometimes I Don’t Think back out last night. “I’ve been doin whiteface in farmland perimeters for thousands of dollars a night” is straight out of a Matt B lyrics generator.

Also, personal anecdote: Ben Sloan was the “artist-in-residence” at Homecoming over the weekend, he’s a fantastic drummer. When my old band played our first show, we were on a bill with his group, called Lazy Heart. We were by far the worst band on a three-band bill lol but anyways, now it looks like he’s their second drummer on tour, which is wild. He’s a super nice guy and good person and it makes me really proud of Cinci’s music scene.

Also, Matt picked on him a bunch during their sets over the weekend and it was really funny lol

July 30th!!!!!!! So excited. I never go to shows but not gonna pass up The National. Especially for $65. That's almost like stealing.

  9. So whomst is going to the Dublin dates this weekend? I'm going tomorrow and am reasonably hyped considering I have had one of the worst mental health weeks in ages. I wonder if this is the gig at which I'll finally get to hear Mistaken for Strangers?

I think Day I Die is probably the best song ever written. I’m floored by it every time.

I really like it. It got tons of hate when this record first came out but I thought it was pretty brilliantly placed. Still do. It’s like an intermission between two very different acts.

The only song that touches Day I Die is I'll Still Destroy You

The execution of Day I Die is just unbelievable. It’s the perfect song.

I can’t write music but my response to the question of “what song do you wish you’d written” would be that every time.

Day I Die is great but probably bottom five on the record for me

Which is a silly thing to say because I genuinely feel this is one of the best albums of all time and every track is great
