what the fuck, now a pantera reunion is 100% out of the picture, not that it was ever likely vinnie and phil would ever make ammends but now that vinnie's gone there's no possible way for it to ever happen. very sad, he was a monster on the drums.

Happy Sunday. Every once in a while I go back and revisit one of my favorites from a year or two years ago. Yesterday I went back to Moonsorrow's 2016 album Jumalten aika. It's a beautiful mix of pagan folk/black metal and is pretty outside what I typically listen to. I bought it on a whim because it was used even though it looked brand new (someone must have returned it immediately after buying it). It even came with a sick patch! Couldn't believe that the person who returned it didn't keep it.

Anyways, check it out.

Also this thread needs Running Wild. People always talk about Alestorm when it comes to pirate metal but RW was doing it the trve way 30 years before Alestorm. They had an amazing stretch of albums in the 80's to mid 90's or so. Death or Glory is my personal favorite:
