This. And I think some democrats have realized this and are not campaigning as the anti-Trump. However, the national narrative - be it from the media or the Republicans - is that Democrats are running on an anti-Trump platform during the mid-terms and that's all they have.

At this point asking these people to turn on Trump is like asking someone what would get them to stop being a die-hard Yankees fan.
