In all fairness it felt much longer than 12 minutes. And everyone rushed the stage during Progenitor haha

 

This is such a blast. Outside of the few numetal-y and jungle moments that recall Slipknot and Chimaira's early works, I love how much it reminds me of Solid State's old rooster. It fits quite nicely between the likes of The Chariot, Training For Utopia, Scarlet, or even Stray From The Path before the latter massively regressed. Impressive debut album.

the slipknot-esque parts are my favorite thing about it

 

My god, I haven't heard about Scarlet in ages. I need to spin Cult Classic again soon.

It’s like five minutes but it’s some of my favorite material of this. More raw than the LP

 

this thing is absolutely stellar. i've been listening to it non stop. jaw dropping throughout. so cool to hear a band groove together so seemlessly

 

just drives me bonkers that errorzone doesn't round out the album. the last song they sequenced with is nothing special in comparison to the rest of the record.
