    that's SO COOL!!!

not thrilled about the song but interested in seeing the new era for these guys, hopefully it's more positive

    That was pretty good

  5. I dig the track but knowing them it either won’t be on the album or will sound completely different. Some pretty direct lines about Ameer on there.

Oh man I REALLY dig that. And damn, totally new album name and everything. Super curious how the rest of it's gonna shape up.

Is it said when the album's coming out? Seems like it would be fairly soon-ish to have a performance like this with the album art in his hands and everything

Jimmy said "From their upcoming album The Best Years Of Our Lives" but the album art shows PUPPY

EDIT: nevermind, it says TONYA. Ignore me

Makes sense as to why my serpentwithfeet show was postponed this week.

I gotta say they’ve done pretty well with handling this situation. A lot of groups could learn from this. Hopefully we get a statement before the album just to bring some awareness

    Another statement?

I don’t know, just something to go out with the album rollout just bringing awareness to the problem overall. I know it seems excessive, but now that the dust has settled just something to bring closure to it all.

I personally feel like the statement they gave was enough to close the book, but we'll see

Yeah I don't expect them to make another statement and I don't think they owe another one

Fair enough. I don’t think it needs to be about their own situation, but just a general statement about the issues in our society would go a long way. Maybe the music will say it all, idk. Definitely didn’t mean they owe us one though, sorry if that was misunderstood

I feel like they've taken the right steps, and I haven't listened to the new song yet but it sounds like it was pretty directly aimed at him, so it's not like they're still trying to defend him. I don't see a reason they owe another statement or shouldn't be allowed to continue on. I personally think the world's a better place for having this group in it, so I'm glad they are bouncing back now.

I agree with you in the sense that it's always good for any artist to speak up about these issues, so it'd be nice to see them do that in the future

which is ironic because literally in the song Kevin goes "I feel like brothers lied just so I don't get my feelings hurt"

    so ameer is still trash

Yeah I just figure they’ve got the spotlight, platform, and experience in the situation that nows the perfect time to make a statement to the music community. Nothing owed, just good practice.

Regardless I’m very excited to hear this album. Was super bummed by the news because they’ve become one of my favorite artists over the last year, so I’m glad they’re back on track.

I seem to be in the minority but I thought that performance was incredible and moving

Also they don't owe another statement one bit. They are a collective, they hacked the weed and are moving on
