Fuck it’s shitty Anthem. Fuck it’s boring ass shitty flag. And fuck every person that takes part in the masturbatory misty eyed “I’m proud to be an ‘Murican” bullshit that’s this country’s only main export.

When, not if but when, a child dies at one of these facilities, do you think we'll even hear about it? You know ICE is gonna hide that no matter what.

I am so heartbroken by all of this. As a mixed Mexican-American person and someone who routinely works with kids who have been taken from their parents and see firsthand how traumatic and devastating the effects are, I am so angry right now. Like logically I know how, but how do people get to a place where they can be so cruel and heartless? Our country is trash for letting people become this and then giving them positions of power. I am often ashamed of this country but that feeling is tenfold lately. This country is truly a disgrace and the only light is seeing how many people are donating and trying to fight against this.

My honest question is what is the true endgame here? Like you’re doing all this to force your shitty idea of a wall to be built? What the actual fuck?

 

Something I don't get:

So these kids are being forced to live in jail like conditions. Separated from their parents.

What the fuck are the conditions their parents are living in like? Is it even worse and this is some kind of misguided attempt to protect the kids? Or are they just pointlessly separating the kids from their parents not out of any claims of safety but just because they are evil immoral fucks? Which of those scenarios would I be more comfortable with learning is the truth? Both of them feel horrific.

I wonder if they’ve read this. Wish there actually was a hell for these monsters.

 

Hypothetically, even if the Dems completely cave, give the Trump admin everything they want, all the funding for the wall, is this admin really gonna turn round and say "alright, let's give all these kids back to their parents, and heck, let's grant them asylum too!".

I wouldn't be surprised if ICE have lost records of which child belongs to which family.
