I feel like it's a smart play. It's easy for people to lose interest between the release of the first single and the 4 months it takes to release the album. I think by losing the long rollout and doing a single, promo, another single, and release in a short time it can keep the hype building. I'm pretty excited for this record and I'm not even really a fan of the band!

Mayday just did a 40 minute set at Download last week and did

    Oh Well Oh Well
    Jamie All Over
    Three Cheers for Five Years
    It’s Hard To Be Religious...
    Black Cat
    Piece of Your Heart
    When You See My Friends
    Jersey

Id assume they’re either going to drop Three Cheers or Religious for Warped, but the other songs are basically locks. They posted on snap the other day them practicing for Warped playing Piece of your Heart so that’s staying.

Literally EXACTLY what I expected (but I wish they’d drop When You See My Friends and Black Cat already). I really hope Religious stays, I’d love to hear a new song over the same songs they’ve been playing for 10 years.

Damn that looks like the same setlist from 2014 and 2016 Warped haha.

Piece Of Your Heart is my least favorite song from the new album. I could do without that, Black Cat, and When You See My Friends. Hoping they keep Religous that’s one of my favorites off the new record. Mayday is one of my favorites to watch live and I saw them at my first Warped so of course I’m going to watch them but this setlist is very disappointing

I’m kind of surprised West Palm isn’t on there but that gives me more time to get a ticket so yay.

They said something on Twitter about playing "some of these songs all summer" when Sunnyland came out, so I think they would probably drop Three Cheers and keep Religious. That would make 2 songs off S/T, 3 songs off ALIR, and 2 new songs... I really wish they'd swap Black Cat, Friends, or Oh Well for something off Black Lines. Though I guess I can give it to them since they just toured ALIR in full for 5 months and TTBDF for a little bit right before that

I love how they still hold Black Cat in the vein of Jamie All Over or Jersey. Give it a breaaaaak.

So many better songs if they still wanna play another ALIR song it should be When I Get Home You’re So Dead

Just bought my ticket for Detroit out of panic. Happy to at least have that out of the way, haha.

Would love to see them drop Black Cat, and play Never Sure over It's Hard.

If anyone was curious what the "fan favorite medley" on Issues set consists of, it'll consist of Disappear, King of Amarillo, Tears on the Runway, and The Worst of Them.

Warped is only four days away and I'm going back over my Must See list (Movements, Wage War, Trash Boat, Mayday, Simple Plan, TBS, ETID) and I'm realizing that there are about fifteen bands I really want to see that just miss Must See status. My point is the schedule conflict anxiety just kicked in to full gear

Pomona’s site is being expanded to fit more people, and there are 2000 tickets left for the Pomona date, according to Kevin

So with shows selling well do you think Lymann regrets this being the last year or is that the main selling point?

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

I’m pretty sure that’s the main selling point. A lot of people have complained about the lineup being weak, but nevertheless are still going just to experience it one last time.

Ventura being the first to sell out comes as no surprise just because most, if not all the bands playing this year never make it out to Ventura and they either

    A. Haven’t played in Ventura in a while
    B. The last time they played Ventura was the last time they played Warped there
    C. Probably haven’t even played Ventura before

The last time Taking Back Sunday and The Used played in Ventura was when they played Warped in 2012. The last time ATL played Ventura was when they headlined the Majestic in 2013, and a bunch of other bands on the lineup like Real Friends, State Champs, Mayday, Kings, Maine, etc. haven’t been back to Ventura since the last time they played Warped when it came to Ventura (2014)
