what tf is that verse on Gospel Burnout? cant get through it again. but even worse its definitely the worst chorus of all the Tillian era.

Listening to this for the first time in about a week and I think Count Bassy is easily my favourite.

I love that song so much and it reminds me of Deathstar. It’s my Ebay name too lol

Listening to DBMII and the production is so goddamn tight. I think the criticism of the production on AS2 is a bit overblown as well but man... I would love for it to be on par with that record.

I also miss Mess’s screams from that record too.

Tilian's lyrics completely ruin it for me, which is a shame because I love the arrangement/instrumentation so much - the riffs are fantastic and it's one of their 'simple but effective' songs in that it's just 3 or 4 parts to the whole thing. Would love a high-quality instrumental of it.

Highlights of this for me are Gospel Burnout + Hair Song (That middle section sounds so amazing) I really need to listen more to decide on my ordering. I always listen to a new album by this band and expect to find it less impressive with each release. Yet they somehow make it interesting

Still can't wrap my head around these being so big nowadays

I figured it’d top mothership since strong releases help the next one but I’m curious what they mean by “by far?” Where would one see the numbers for each?

So they did worse on the general charts this time, but better on the genre and medium-specific charts

I just had a stupid thought: what are the odds DGD ever gets on SNL?

    Someone start a petition.

Never. SNL almost never has real rock acts on their show to begin with.

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

DGD is nowhere near the realm of Radiohead or The 1975. They will never be on SNL.

Sad that they weren't able to crack the top 10 on the billboard 200 but fuck it, happy for them!
