oh man, the Hardys wrestling on a trampoline is ever more high flying than I imagined

 

Fine match. Donno if it topped the last two years, but still had a lot of fun spots.

Braun is a fine winner but definitely had better options. Imagine Bryan vs AJ at Summerslam, Bryan wins and Miz's music hits and then Miz just uses the briefcase to haunt Bryan for several months. Or Kofi finally getting his title run. Or Rusev or Finn using it to get a push...

oh well. At least Roode didn't win. PPV as a whole was better than I thought it was gonna be. C+, could've been B+ maybe even A- if they cut the three deadweight matches (leave tag titles on the preshow) and just gave us the two MITB matches, two women's matches, and IC / WWE title matches.

 

Remember when mick foley beat his tv with a baseball bat because Bryan didn't win?

 

this brings back so many great memories

 

Yeah so he didn't need the briefcase nearly as much as others did for a push. I'm okay with him winning though, still intriguing with the possibilities.

 

Its also clear that KO is the only one willing to push the ladder match...watching this Hardy's 24. He's the only one that took a spot that lives up. Probably why I connected with him when he was in NXT

 

Nice to have an active thread during a show for once

I just watched this match again today. Crazy.

 

Weirdly, I see that as a positive thing. Sell the spot as he was broken. Id be far more worried he's concussed the way he took that hit; he overshot the table a little bit

 

this 24 is behind-the-curtain in a way nothing else they’ve produced has been. this is so good and honest.

 

Its honestly what they needed to produce after Jeff's DUI. Needs to all be out there in this way.

Up until this, I thought Fight Owens Fight and the KO:365 were the best work WWE had done in documentaries...but this is even better. But it makes me feel so much better that neither of those are about head injuries or drugs or going to jail...

When we watch Gargano/Ciampa:365, or Sasha/Bayley:24, it wont be secretly about nearly ruining their families and their lives. And it makes me so, so happy for Matt to have transformed himself in the way he has.

 

This totally changed the way I feel about Reby.

 

I got chills again watching the Hardys in gorilla and watching the super wide shot of their entrance.

I still remember marking the fuck out in an airport waiting area, it timed out perfectly that I got to watch the match before we boarded. Most of that WM sucked, but that made me so happy

 

Honestly, it makes perfect sense to me now. Like, you'd go batshit crazy fighting a company that even threatened harm on your husbands ideas after what she's been through. And if you thought there was any chance he'd backslide into a dark place

 

Also, looks like Jeff's DUI was 2 days after they taped the Ultimate Deletion....Seeing him in the performance center is weird and cool.
