Okay, just gave this a shot. It's actually pretty good! They kind of lose me after "Something about you" but up until that point everything is awesome (small unintentional Lego Movie reference for you guys right there)

God I LOVE that album. Now I know what I'm spinning this afternoon...

I'm enjoying a lot of this but I feel like it loses a lot of its momentum on the back half. I don't love much of anything after Safe Haven.

Cut Through The Static has really grown on me. "And be the living proof" in the chorus really is great.

I essentially think this is a top-tier album tracks 1 - 10. After that it falls off a cliff for me. Which is really a compliment more than anything because writing 10 straight great tracks is really not easy or common.

I also think "Sidelines" is a terrible way to close out such a powerhouse record.

Time Machine is a cool track, I like that they tried a different vibe for that one. I also really dig Mine is Gold after being unimpressed to begin with. I’d cut Cut Through the Static and Sidelines and write a different closer.

The chorus of "Mine is Gold" still drives me crazy. Also, re: "Lightning", I think that chorus could've been so much bigger each time I listen to it.

Yeah, the chorus is the weaker part of the song but it’s grown on me. With Lightning, I kinda don’t like something about the way the chorus starts, can’t place it though.

  8. Yeah Time Machine is VASTLY underrated. Mark Hoppus guest spot wasn't really necessary but it works out fine. Also, Dead and Gone is actually even better in context, same with Mine Is Gold.

My problem with Mine Is Gold is that it makes all of sounds around it sound worse

Time Machine reminds of +44/Neighborhoods-era Blink. Especially when Mark comes in.

“Cut Through the Static” grows on me more each day.

I’ve listened to this record every day this week. Quickly becoming a mainstay for me. This thing shreds.

I feel old now, but also excited. It's a conflicting feeling.

I miss fireworks every damn day.

It reminds me so much of the vibe from Hit The Lights' Invicta as well

Such a great record. Such a cliff dive after that.

Everything HTL did sucked except that record, imo

Listening to the official stream on YT, so far Criminal is good and the guitar work on Frozen is fucking awesome.

The Fix Up is probably my favorite song so far. Gonna sleep and listen to the album more tomorrow along with re-listening to it.

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

This band is one album behind in their progression, but this is pretty good.

Yeah, Living Proof is fine. This is the least excited I’ve been for one of their album cycles over the past five years though.
