If we are ranking Thrice albums :
    1- Vheissu
2- To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere
    3- Major/Minor
    4- Beggars
5- Alchemy Index: Air & Earth
6- Alchemy Index: Fire & Water
    7- Artist in the Ambulance
    8- Illusion of Safety
    9- Identity Crisis

It's definitely soon to rank TBEITBN so it may go down a spot or two with time. So basically it's in reverse order of release except for Vheissu haha

Jumping in on the ranking bandwagon. I feel like it's too early to give TBEITBN a spot, but I'll do so. It could go up or down with more listens.

    1. Vheissu
    2. Alchemy Index: Air & Earth
    3. To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere
    4. Beggars
    5. Major/Minor
    6. Alchemy Index: Fire & Water
    7. Artist in the Ambulance
    8. Illusion of Safety
    9. Identity Crisis

Salt and Shadow might be my new favorite song from them, though.

Chorus’ Expert on OTIP Track #8 Supporter

First listen through, not really enjoying it at all, and I love everything from Artist through Beggars. Gonna be giving it repeat listens of course, but as a whole it just seems incredibly generic.

I'm struggling to find time to listen to anything else besides this. The only other album I've listened to since Wednesdah is Along The Shadow once and the new Cassino EP twice.

    Vheissu
    Artist
    Air and Earth
    Major/Minor
    Fire and Water
    TBEITBN
    Illusion of Safety
    Beggars
    Identity Crisis

Still waaaaaaaaaaaaay too early to rank the new one though, and my order changes a lot apart from Vheissu top and Identity Crisis bottom

Breaks my heart to see Beggars so far down on some of these lists.

I'll give it another go, haven't listened to it in a while but apart from All The World Is Mad, The Weight and the title track it's never hit me that hard

Where you have Vheissu immovable at the top, I've got Beggars.

It's a good song but personally I don't see how it's one of their best songs. The Weight is probably one of my favourites they've ever done though.

I put Beggars in 4th place, but Vheissu, M/m, and Beggars probably get the same amount of listening time from me. As for TBEITBN in second place, it's too soon to know exactly where it will end up after some time, but I am enjoying it way more than I was expecting.

@Night Channels @ChrisCantWrite okay listened to the Doublespeak - In Exile - At The Last run for the first time in years and it's a hell of a lot better than I gave it credit for, you guys were right haha

This is one of the best three-song stretches in their catalog, imo.

    Fight the long defeat.

Agreed. It speaks to Beggars' greatness that it includes another sequence (Talking Through Glass - The Great Exchange - Beggars) of arguably greater strength. That one may just be my favorite out of their catalog.

Has anyone redeemed the digital voucher from a vinyl copy of the album? I'm curious if it includes any bonus tracks. If it doesn't, I had planned to gift it to a friend.

How anyone can have Beggars that far down on any album ranking is beyond me. I always thought everyone here adored that album.

At The Last has become one of my favorite songs from Beggars over the last half a year or so. Doublespeak is a jam too. Definitely my favorite Thrice album but Talking Through Glass and The Great Exchange are the "weak" part for me. They're both still good. Justbreallu tough to follow up songs like All The World Is Mad, Circles, In Exile, At The Last, and Wood And Wire before closing with a great track like Beggars.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite, but I really feel like A Song for Milly Michaelson is underrated.

It seemed like a lot of people thought that Beggars wasn't heavy enough when it came out.

I can see that. The tones aren't clean, but they're not heavily distorted either. Kinda bluesy and scratchy.

dang. great exchange and talking through glass are some of my favorites. and doublespeak bothers me so much because I love the song except for the chorus

Last I checked, there were only 4 reviews on there and Metacritic are weird in what reviews they choose to include. Metacritic is a crock of crap.

What is it that really appeal to you about those two songs? I'll keep in mind what you say on my next listen. I always just felt like TTG was the most straightforward song on an album full of interesting songwriting, while TGE, although I think it's good and enjoyable, kinda meanders a bit for me. Riley's drumming on TGE is great though.
