Best Coast is releasing a childrens album

I was excited to see that chorus was launched with the idea that it wouldn't become like absolutepunk. There are some things which are better, but that same hive mindset is very, very much alive. That's what I hated the most about AP, and I see it more and more each day that I’m here. Obviously, the A1 thread is an exception, because everyone here has been very welcoming and friendly, but a large portion of this site simply isn't like the little corner we have here. Look at the Thrice thread today. There's a rush to gang up on individuals with differing viewpoints. It's almost a competition to find out who can be the most dismissive. While talking with Dustin earlier today, I realized that such behavior is a source of anxiety for me, which, sadly, is sometimes encouraged here. I don't want to be a part of that, much less support it. So that's why I'm leaving.

Talking a variety of topics including music, politics, food, and many others has been an absolute pleasure. I love you all and I've learned a great deal from you in the time I've spent here. Many of you are already my friends on facebook, twitter, and/or instagram, and if you're not and would like to be, please feel free to add me as I won't be posting again. I wish you all the best.
