Good stuff. Would have liked to see Metroid or Retros game but they released Hollow Knight so I'm hyped as hell.

 

weird direct. Smash was huge, but would've liked to see more than just basically one game coverage. Where is the Metroid news? Show us a few games you haven't previously announced. You have a bunch of cool titles coming up, show us more than 5 seconds each of those.

 

It's official. Nintendo is a fucking powerhouse right now. Unbelievably smart bringing all previous characters back.

 

They announced before that it was going to be focused on Smash, I don't know why anyone is surprised or complaining. We got a new Pokemon, Fortnite, Mario Party, a bunch of Indies and dates for third party games. It was great. Definitely the best of show.

 

Ridley has been all I wanted in smash since Brawl, haha.

Not disappointed at all, but Im surprised that they didnt mention Yoshi, metroid or the rumoured Retro game. Is it possible that those rumours were bunk?

 

I'm a huge nintendo fan, and even I can admit that Microsoft and probably Bethesdia and Ubisoft too had a better showing than Nintendo.

Haven't played Smash in a long fucking time, but I'll definitely pick this up.

 

I'm fucking floored. I don't even love Metroid that much, but I can't believe we're actually getting Ridley. That's fucking wild.

Nope. I'm a Sony fanboy (it was so tough watching their conference) and it's obvious Nintendo is the strongest. Microsoft is busy playing catch up, so much so that they had to announce their new console project. Bethesda's was good but nothing surprising. Ubisoft is a good company with solid games and it was nice to see how much passion and effort they put in this time around.

However, Nintendo did everything right. They listened to their fans so intently and went out of their way with Smash to make it an absolute fucking powerhouse. The amount of time and effort invested into that game must be insane. On top of that they have Fortnite, Octopath Traveler, announced a new Mario Party, Fire Emblem, Dark Souls, a bunch of Indies and more.

They're on top of their game.

Ridley is already broken. Its down-throw (or whatever it is) just basically automatically gives you instant stage control. Christ have mercy.
