A note from the band LVL UP:

We have decided to retire this project. It has been an extremely rewarding journey beyond anything we could have ever realistically imagined. The band began in a college dorm room in 2011 as a lighthearted recording project. We have since been lucky enough to tour nationally and internationally over the last seven years with the support of many lovely people, and will never be able to thank our friends, families, and loved ones enough for providing such warmth throughout this experience. Our deepest gratitude goes out to every label, band, and person who's played a role in this wild ride.

Here is our last single, “Orchard”, which we recorded early this year. As always, thank you to our eternal friend and fifth member Mike Ditrio for helping us with this and every other recording process we’ve had.

Everyone in the band will continue to support each other while we release new material through different outlets.

LVL UP will be performing live for a final stretch of time this coming fall.

I'm pretty sure they're huge in the UK, they sold out Alexandria Palace (10k venue) and had State Champs open for them right after they were the first openers on the State Champs US tour

 

i feel like i've seen this tour like 679696050232340 times before.

 

Not a lot of ska bands out there, so yeah.

 

Pretty sure I heard they were doing a fall headliner so I'm guessing that's being announced tomorrow, fingers crossed for good support

I feel like Senses Fail, Say Anything, New Found Glory, Bayside, Silverstein, etc, can just keep swapping each other out doing co-headlining tours every year for the rest of their lives.

 

I would very much be okay with that.

 

Almost find it kind of ridiculous that a band like Ghost’s VIP tickets cost more than what I’m paying to meet Camila Cabello on Taylor Swift’s tour in August, but I almost want to do it anyway, haha.

EDIT: Then again, I’m forgetting you actually get a bunch of cool extra shit with Ghost’s VIP.

 

Rumor is As I lay dying will tour with Miss May I in October.

 

I could see that being true, their vocalist and I think their bassist are huge AILD fans.
