They did Philadelphia for the 2nd round of past lives in 2015. In any case, I still don't understand why they're doing this instead of recording. Or maybe they're doing both. Hopefully both.

Got tix for Seattle. Shaping up to be a great tour season this fall. Descendents are here the week before Trio, so I get to see my two all time favorite bands in one week's time Old punk is happy punk

 

Huh I totally thought it was longer ago than 2015.. but still I haven't seen them in 3 years so I'm very stoked about a tour

And honestly they could have recorded / could be recording before the tour anyway

Unfortunately no. I thought it was gonna happen with A&I because the studio forced them to put Do You Wanna Know? On the record, but it never materialized

 

I hope Dan whips out his acoustic guitar and plays What Went Wrong if people do that.

 

Ugh as an Illinois resident I’ve always hated Riot Fest. This strengthens that feeling.

Yeah that was my feeling before this tour was announced. It just sucks seeing a full tour announced and not seeing a Chicago date on there.

There have been many great fall tours over the years where the Chicago date is held at Riot Fest and it’s just not the same.

 

As much as I love Riot Fest, I'm sure if I lived there I'd feel the same way

 

I'm really curious what the setlist is going to be.

 

I haven’t seen these guys live since 2008. I was a big fan of them and I’ve become even more of a fan of them since Matt joined Blink and I’ve come to admire the guy that much more. I cannot wait for this show.
