So good. Top tier television, criminally under-watched and under-discussed.

 

I'd also say it's definitely one of the best shows I've ever seen. It will 100% get in your feels.

 

Pumped about all of the good thoughts on that show. I am excited to explore it more.

 

I love gushing about that show because it feels like nobody knows about it. The writing reminds me of Mad Men in the way that it's paced very deliberately (one might say slow), but every moment is ripe with substance that you don't actually mind.

 

They're similar in that the shows are both windows into a time period in a handful of characters' lives. It's not dependent on cliffhangers like Breaking Bad or something. That isn't a bad thing, just a different style and it makes it feel more realistic and meaningful.

 

Yeah I have really liked the pacing and lack of standard tv drama. It has more of realistic feel to it. Although, if Mad Men is sort of in the same vein I may actually give that show a shot sometime. Never seen any of that show.

 

I think Mad Men is the greatest show ever made.

 

Yessss, more Castlevania. Super excited for S2, which hopefully drops soon. Another show it seems like not enough people watch.

i think so far my only issue with "Safe" is how does a family as rich as the marshals, who apparently own a brewery or distillery of some sort, not have security cameras for a house that large? just seems like bing bang boom CCTV footage catches whoever killed the kid, im not done yet though so idk how this ends but ive been thinking about this since episode 2 lol

 

this is very good though and its a good thing i've only 2 episodes left after this one because i have plans tonight i'd highly consider cancelling to finish this lol

So happy the second season of Marcella is up. This show fucking rules.

 

Watched two episodes of the season tonight. Really enjoying it so far.

 

after finishing up Safe yesterday, i started The Five this morning, same writer. So far so good.

 

The reveal for this season didn't make much sense, which is a huge bummer.

 

I still have two episodes left, but there are a lot of connections to keep track of. Still liking it though.

 

How is Safe overall?
