I think Family Guy was pretty innovative when it came out but became kind of a poor initiation of itself as it went on.

Never was a South Park fan, except when I was in middle school because I was definitely not allowed to watch it

 

My mom never let me watch the Simpsons but let me watch South Park in middle school and I’m like wtf were you thinking.

Turns out she just enjoyed South Park more and that’s why she let me watch it.

 

Yeah I wasn't allowed to watch Simpsons either which is super tame

 

South Park and Family Guy have both gotten old and Libertarian, also like every character on Family Guy is a monster, Peter legit abuses Meg and Lois doesn't care

 

All alt right dudes have South Park personalities so I can’t really vibe with the show

 

I was listening to music and then randomly it started playing out of my phone speakers instead of my headphones

Imagine if I was watching porn

 

Because I was literally 12

 

My first gf ever was when I was in 6th grade and she bought me a season of family guy for my birthday. I had never even mentioned family guy to her cuz I’m p sure we didnt even get it on tv and i wouldnt have been allowed to watch it anyways so I think that was part of the appeal.

 

I bought her +44’s album and the Black Parade so my gift was better just sayin

i had a bedtime of 9 pm and then 10 pm for a lot of my childhood
yet was allowed to watch simpsons and the x files

 

i also watched all the murder, she wrote

which was probably way more violent than the simpsons at times

I haven’t actively watched Family Guy in so long, but those first four or so seasons were pretty great at the time. Always loved Futurama more and still watch re-runs quite a bit. It’s been a long time since I watched South Park...but I’ve probably seen the first 12-13 seasons in their entirety.

Bob’s Burgers is a treasure we don’t deserve, though.

 

I think Hereditary scared me more than I thought it did lol. It takes a lot for a horror movie to affect me after it’s over, but I’m waking from my car to my house rn and I’m not gonna lie. Lowkey creeped out

 

I've never been about to get into an animated to series that wasn't geared towards children
