Finally got a Latias fuck lol

 

Make that 2 Moltres, 2 Zapdos and 1 articuno for me. I think I have 3 ghosts left

 

My next special research is to catch a ditto and 10 ghost types. This is going to foreeeeeeveeeeer.

 

Hatched a perfect Swablu today... Somehow only my second 100%.

 

I was shocked I caught a ditto within a couple of months of getting that task. I've encountered 20 total in the game. I never expected the 10 ghost types would take longer. Most of my ghost catches have actually been from raids and I just need a couple more.

Catch every Pidgey, Ratatta, Zubat, Mankey, Ghastly, Sentret, Yanma, Hoothoot, Zigzagoon, Whismur, Gulpin you see!

 

clinical rotations taking up too much time: no dank green kabutops or pink aerodactyl for me :c

 

I have encountered 1 ditto ever aha.

For ghosts, do they just spawn late at night or something?

 

I just need to do 2 more raids and then I'm onto the 7th tier of the Mew challenges. Getting so close

 

These events are a double-edged sword. If you hurried and completed the tasks as soon as they were available, the ghost types and ditto were fairly easy (because it was the Kanto event), but for others who waited a bit, the events make it impossible to find anything other than the currently boosted type.

Also, it's super frustrating when you put a Pokemon in a remote gym. My Machamp has been held captive for over a week now.

 

I've had a charizard in a gym in town for 5 days. My team keep boosting it and healing it and I just want it back!

 

Caught 2 ghosts last night around midnight and one just now. Got all the ghosts I need. This hotel in staying at is a stop and it’s spawning like 15 Pokémon at all times. It’s crazy. I’m completely out of balls. Now all I gotta do is the 10 raids.

 

haha it's frustrating right? I don't even think mine's being boosted, it's just way too remote so no one even encounters it.

 

I've seen some people who have a Pokemon in a gym since last summer lol

 

I need to evolve magikarp again for Mew and I only have 130 candies. FML

 

Last night my wife and I went on a walk around the neighborhood before going to sleep, and right as we got back to the apartment a Murkrow popped up on my phone. I tapped on it, because I try and catch everything, and it turned out to be a random shiny.

This was my first shiny I've found not during an event on Pokemon Go. I'm super stoked because when Gen 4 rolls around I'm evolving it and getting this magnificent purple gangster bird:

 

got my shiny Swablu this weekend. still no Omanyte/Dactyl.

 

I have six shinies so far - none of which came from actively looking. As soon as I consciously made the decision to start collecting them, I've clicked on a million Charmander, Omanyte, Kabuto, etc. with no luck.

 

haha, all of mine have been from actively hunting. i get a little obsessive about it. will prob take the excuse to spend a couple of hours outside tonight for a last chance before the event ends.

 

Haha yeah I'll take one last swing at getting some of them tonight. I click on a ton of them when I'm out and about, but realistically, I've only "seen" less than 100 of Aron, Kabuto, etc. It seems like a lot when you're searching, but the odds of finding a shiny are much rarer than that.

 

Got another shiny Aron. Meh.

 

Got a shiny ampharos and charizard from the community days. One shiny pikachu from the first day I started playing again after a few months off. That’s it

 

for all i know this is common, but i got a second EX pass today before i even used my last. wild. better catch one of them or ill be angry.

 

also got some awesome luck today. got a 100% Aerodactyl from research, and hatched the last Bagon and Beldum i needed for my first Salamence and Metagross. after Mewtwo and the hounds, i'll have almost everything but the regionals.

by almost, i mean i need some fuckin' Sunkerns.

 

I’m still like 70 candies awa for both metagross and Salamence.

Salamence, Metagross, and unown are the last 3 non regionals I need to complete my Dex.

Still yet to have caught any non event shinies either. I’m 1400 Magikarp deep and still haven’t gotten one and it’s literally the only one I actually care about.

I’m also 700,000xp away from level 39. I’ve been mapping out routes and hitting like 10-20 pokestops I’ve never hit before with a lucky egg going and that’s really helped with the xp. I’m not looking forward to needing 5million xp to get to 40. Luckily I’m a teacher and have the summer off so I’m hoping to get there before the new school year starts
